Checkered Sheep

Have you seen Checkered Sheep?  Do you know what it is? Hmmmm,  you know, I thought I had seen every pattern created by SB and knew the pattern names.  HA! Was I surprised when I happened on a blog and the blogger talked about a SB project that looked like a checkerboard; she couldn't remember the name (can't remember the name?) My reaction.... What was this blogger talking about? I never heard or seen any pattern like that and I've been following SB since the beginning (such a little Miss Know it All.) To make a long story short, or shorter, as they say, I found what I was looking for. A picture and a name....Checkered Sheep!! Copyright: 1997.

Yes I Did. I just purchased the pattern. Did you have any doubt? Now, to find time to stitch it. Do I rearrange my "To Do" list and put this at or near the top or should I start it and have it as my year long project? Oh my, what about Sophie and her Roses and Peter in his Patch? Isn't it wonderful to have such a dilemma? I'm posting a picture of Checkered Sheep, along with the pattern book. Oh, by the way, a little trivia, do you know that little boy in the pattern picture?

Happy in the Village,
Colleen
